I chose to write on this topic because I relate and have seen the growth of short-form media on my feed. I have written a lot of short content before, so I know the psychology behind it.

Secondly, I didn’t write the thread from the obvious angle i.e. talking about how short-form media took over our feeds. Instead, I have used a parallel analogy — “the long-formication of short-form content”.

This way I have added an additional layer of information while discussing the rise of short-form content anyways.

[I didn’t want to repeat — using catchy hooks, popping visuals, etc.

So, I thought of one BIG strategy that always makes me stop scrolling the watch the content and make a script out of it.

It has a catchy opening, telling the audience what we are talking about, delivering the value and then using a CTA]

If you are using a single strategy for all your social media posts, then STOP.

Different platforms have different algorithms and hence require different strategies.

And if you don’t crack it, you are not going to be successful.
